Transported: Supernatural or Technology?

Have you read 2108: Eyes Open yet? There’s a lady who gets transported from one place to another, seemingly, through a closet. Jewel (the main character) thinks it’s via some sort of technology she’s never encountered. But is it? Could it be a supernatural transportation?

I went to a party the other day and ended up sitting next to a young man who just happened to end up talking about his experiences regarding being transported. Yes. I just said that. Transported. You think I make all this stuff up? Start talking to more people around you.

He talked of one instance of being transported…while driving. He doesn’t usually use cruise control, but one day, on a normally 1 hour and 15 min drive, he decided to use it. He set it at 65. He eventually moved into the fast lane, still on cruise control. There was a tall divider wall to his left. As he continued on, three semi-trucks came around him (one in front, behind and to the side). They stayed there for a moment or two and then moved away. But after that moment or two of being surrounded by trucks, he was now many miles further than he should have been—almost home! Somehow he had skipped by multiple towns in a moment! His complete journey home…at 65 on cruise control…had taken only about 38 minutes. Yup. That’s about half the time folks. Crazy. He happened to be singing and talking to God during those few minutes surrounded by trucks. Think that had anything to do with it? He gave some other examples as well, of times he’s gone momentarily somewhere else only to be brought right back again to where he was. There are instances like this I’ve been weaving into book two of The Realm series.

This young man is not the only one I’ve heard transportation stories from, just the latest. I hope one day God will give me my own stories to share about supernatural transportations. That would be awesome. Until then, my characters will do all the transporting for me.

What do you think?
