For those of you who have read 2108: Eyes Open, you’ll know that Jewel LOVES tree houses. Well, she inherited that from me, actually. She also lives in a house that is sculpted out of wood. How natch is that? Ahh…it’s fun to dream up places I’d love to live.
So, when I discovered I would be on the East Coast the day of the book launch for 2108: Eyes Open, it seemed totally appropriate to have a little launch/book signing party in the upstairs, tree-house-ish loft area of Common Ground Cafe in Hyannis, MA. It looks like it's completely sculpted out of wood. (FYI: this is not an endorsement for the organization behind the cafe...just their utterly natch architecture!)
